GALLOWAY, JAMES
Biography
After graduating from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago James Galloway found himself working on both sides of the Atlantic, mainly New York City and London, which eventually became his base. The Saturday Times, The Telegraph magazine and Conde Nast Publications became regular clients photographing portraits of musicians, film directors and designers, many of which are archived at The National Portrait gallery and are on regular display. James Galloway is inspired by beautiful design, the swooping lines of a draftsman’s penship come to life in the form of a long 1960’s car’s bonnet. A great cinematic experience, following the director’s eye through the action in a well crafted scene. Feeling the handling characteristics of a 1970’s classic car on the roads and lanes of kent.
