Tomoko Furaya was born in Saitama and grew up in Fukuoka, Japan. After graduating from the faculty of law at Seinan Gakuin University in Fukuoka, Tomoko moved to Tokyo. There she worked as a computer engineer while also working as a comic writer assistant. In 2012, Tomoko started working as an illustrator. Tomoko usually works with acrylic paints and watercolor pencils. Tomoko also experiments with digital drawing using CripStudio and Photoshop. Tomoko's work has been used for book covers, posters and much more.
