Biography

Jeremy David Annett, NDD. ATC. was born in England in 1942. In 1956, at the age of 14, he won the first prize in a national painting competition which counted 52,000 contestants. Between 1958 and 1964 he studied at St. Martin's College of Art in London and in Hornsey and obtained the National Diploma of Design and the Teacher's Training Certificate. He taught art at the De Burgh School in Surrey until his departure from England in 1965 on board a boat where his life at sea greatly influenced his works. He has lived and worked in France for 50 years and now lives in the Lot where he continues to paint and hold exhibitions. Jeremy has had over 50 exhibitions and has received numerous prizes for his paintings. His works can be found in private collections in France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, England, Belgium, Holland, Canada, former Czechoslovakia, Malaysia and the Unites States.
