The Carpet Museum Trust in Kidderminster was founded in 1981 to establish ‘a public museum or museums for the exhibition of items of local historical and educational interest and in particular in any way connected with the manufacture of carpets and similar textiles’. The Trust is home to collections of early 20th century historical photographs and watercolours featuring period carpet designs.
