LIDZEY, JOHN

Biography

After attending Camberwell and Hornsey Schools of Art during the 1960s John Lidzey became a graphic designer working for numerous London advertising agencies, studios and design groups. Later he moved to Southwark College and in 1987 left art education to devote his energies entirely to painting. He has exhibited at many London galleries including the Bankside and Mall Galleries, the Medici Gallery, The Barbican and the Royal Festival Hall. John Lidzey’s book Watercolour Workshop was launched in London and contains copies of over 200 of his paintings.
