Sarah Evans is a Welsh Landscape Artist living and working near the Brecon Beacons in South Wales. She attended Aberdare Girls School from 1986 -1991 and later studied Art at Swansea University. Sarah paints predominantly in two styles; one of which is a process derived from memory of her surrounding landscape growing up within the heads of the Valleys. This particular work is essentially acrylic on paper or occasionally collage. Sarah also paints a more accurate representation of her surroundings which are in essence Sea and Winter Landscapes and likes to encompass the raw elements of weather and atmosphere within her work. This work is primarily acrylic on wood. As well as continuing to develop her practice Sarah undertakes Landscape commissions from all over the UK and Ireland.
