b. 1962 Maylee Christie was born in Miraflores, Peru and grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied graphic design at the National University before moving to Spain where she worked for 10 years as an illustrator of children's books. Maylee Christie is now based and working in England as an illustrator, sculptor and mosaic artist
