Inspired by a 1986 exhibition in Leeds, Dr Jeffrey Sherwin has acquired what is arguably the finest collection of British Surrealist art. The Sherwin Collection includes works by original Surrealists such as Eileen Agar and Roland Penrose, as well as more recent works inspired by the legacy of the original 1920s movement; Eduardo Paolozzi features, as do prints from Damien Hirst’s, ‘The Last Supper’ series.
