Richard Hill spent his early years growing up in Qatar and travelling around Iran and the Middle East. His father, Robert Eric Hill, was in Qatar on and off from 1947 to 1977 and created a home movie collection that offers a unique archival perspective of this part of the world, when Qatar was mostly undeveloped.
