HARRAP, PETER
Biography
Peter Harrap was born in 1975. His grandfather a political refugee in 1939 from Romania. Peter studied at Camberwell College of Art (1993) and Winchester School of Art (1994-1997). He was elected a Royal Academy Schools graduate in 2004 under Professor Brendan Neiland RA for his role as director of Young RA's. He studied life drawing under John Lessore (2000-2003) and established a School of Drawing and Painting at Leighton House Museum in 2003, which runs a continuing programme of life drawing and painting. Peter is married to the artist Natasha Kissell and they live in Brighton in the UK.
