Ditz was born in Vienna, Austria, but has lived in England for nearly fifty years. Her distinctive style has evolved over time into highly detailed, quirky images. The paintings are usually on a relatively small scale and are acrylic on board. Ditz has exhibited regularly at a range of galleries including The Royal Academy (many times) and The Barbican (both London) as well as civic museums and galleries in other UK and European cities. Her works hang in collections throughout the world.
