Born in 1972, in Heswall, UK, he studied Fine Art at Staffordshire University and a Masters at Falmouth College of Arts, under Steve Braund and Andrjez Klimowski. Often favouring watercolour, though at times oils or mixed media and also graphite or monochrome, his work often shows an intuitive gestural expressionism and a recurring theme of the romantic 'sublime' combined with elements from popular culture, as well as an interest in how the mind can wander and distort what it sees. He has exhibited around the UK and has work in private and public collections in the UK and Norway.
