CROW, DEREK
Biography
Derek Crow (b. 1928), from Strood in Kent, was a painter, draughtsman, printmaker and potter. He was brought up in Rochester, then studied at Medway School of Art, 1945–7, and at Royal College of Art, 1949–52. He went on to teach in Jersey, Channel Islands, where he settled in St Helier. Showed Young Contemporaries, RI, RBA, SGA, in the provinces and elsewhere. His work is held by the National Film Theatre, London.
