Since its foundation in 2001, Chronos Media has emerged as one of the largest private archives in Germany. The films in their collection chronicle historical events of the 20th century. Chronos Media are collectors of history, they believe learning from history is the key to creating a better future. A large part of their collection consists of footage depicting different aspects of German life. From Berlin nightlife, unemployment, and farm life in the 1920s, through World War I and World War II.
