8mmezzo is a cultural association based in Livorno, Italy, with the aim of finding, digitising and archiving old movies shot on 8mm, super8 and 16mm film. The team at 8mmezzo work with donated family movies from the 1930s up to the 1990s, scanning the material to Full HD and making this restored, catalogued material available to future generations: private family moments as well as travel, sports and public events.
