THE FINE ART SOCIETY
Biography
Established in 1876, The Fine Art Society’s two elegant gallery spaces in Edinburgh and London handle exceptional works of British art and design. They are leading specialists in Scottish art from the 1700s onwards and London-based artists of the Victorian, Edwardian and interwar periods. Throughout their history, The Fine Art Society has remained dedicated to academic exhibitions and research, and continues to enrich, support and expand the market for historical design and fine art. As one of the oldest fine art dealers in the UK, they continue to handle many of the most influential artists of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with whom they have historic links.
