Suzie Maeder was born in Switzerland. In 1969 she moved to London to study photography at Ealing Technical College (now TVU) winning First Prize in the Ilford College Award in 1970. She then obtained an MA Degree from the Royal College of Art in 1973. Her reputation as a freelance photographer was developed in the field of classical music and her expertise led to contracts with major recording companies, international orchestras and acclaimed solo artists. Her photographs appear in publications around the world and she has shown in over twenty exhibitions in Europe, America, Australia and the Middle East.
