Born in Nottingham in 1947, David Cooke is married with children. He was educated in the Midlands and in Surrey. He worked in the studio of an advertising agency before completing a Fine Art Course at West Surrey College of Art. David Cooke taught at various art schools, subsequently becoming an art lecturer and course tutor at Yeovil College, Somerset. David has exhibited at the Royal Academy, other major London exhibitions and at several galleries in the South East and West of England, including several solo exhibitions. He is currently a self-employed artist and part-time gravedigger.
